Tuxedo's

So Kevin and I went last night and picked out the tuxedo's for the wedding! I am so excited! It is going to look so good and I can't wait for May 8th to get here! Now all we have to do is finish all of the other small details. Oh and I have to get my dress altered...that is very important!!

Intro and Hello

Even though Kevin and I got engaged in April 2009, here is the story of how we got engaged!! We are going to try and use this blog to keep friends and family updated about the wedding plans. The wedding is May 8, 2010, so keep posted!!

Ok so here is the story!!! I figured this might be easier to inform everyone of the story!! Even thought I will be happy to tell it to anyone who asks!!! Just because it was perfect!!! hehe

Yep!! I'm engaged!!! It was perfect! So Kevin had to work last night (he is a server at one of our local places as many of you know) so a bunch of our friends went to to eat and drink while he was working to celebrate that we are done with school!! Plus to celebrate that my best friend Heather is graduating next weekend and then moving (Which I will be extremely sad that she is leaving! I'm just not thinking about that yet!)! So he gets off work early so he is able to sit and eat with us. One of the girls (Candace) decided that we should go take pictures in Coolidge Park right down the road! So we went, took a couple of group pictures and then Kevin tells me that he is stealing me away since he never gets to see me! So we find an abondoned picnic table right by the river and by the bridge which is lit up beautifully! We sat there and talked for a little bit about our favorite memories together and how the park held a lot of those memories. At this point he is sitting in front of me and we are both looking out at the river (I'm sitting behind him hugging him since he carried me over there by piggyback and that is how he put me down!). He then turned around and gave me a kiss (I could tell that his heart was beating really fast, but I thought it was from him carrying me so far-haha). He then said that we should make another good memory here and got down on one knew and asked if I would marry him! I of course said yes!! haha! After that I ran to where all of my friends were standing! We took pictures and then I screamed at the top of my lungs in the middle of Coolidge Park- I'M ENGAGED!!!! I got a lot of congrats from everyone walking around!!! Then of course we made a lot of phone calls!!! But it was absolutely perfect!! Heather should be putting the pictures up soon and I am working on getting a good picture of my ring!!! It is beautiful!!! So keep looking for that!!!
